Welcome

Hi, and welcome to my blog. I will be writing about all kinds of things, including my travel aspirations, work and business goals, movies (which I love) and political and spiritual beliefs. I have many interests and will share these on the blog.

I first began reading blogs back in 2003 when I heard about the blog Where is Raed?, which was written by an Iraqi, who goes by the name Salam Pax (meaning Peace in both Arabic and Latin). He discussed his life in Baghdad leading up to and including the war. I enjoyed reading his blog, which gave his readers a small view into his life, and miss his writings very much. He took a hiatus 2 years ago, and I often wonder about him, and if he and his family are ok. Another good Iraqi blog is Riverbend's Baghdad Burning.
